Countless experiences - Pure nature!
Whether in winter or summer, Kandersteg is a mecca of the Swiss mountain world! Ideally located in terms of transport, yet nestled among the most imposing Alpine peaks. Absolute highlights such as Lake Oeschinen alternate with natural paradises to be discovered such as the Gasterntal, the Gemmi or the Allmenalp. In winter, Kandersteg is one of the most important Nordic skiing centres with its ski jumps and countless cross-country trails, whether high up in Sunnbühl or right through the middle of the picturesque mountain village of Kandersteg. There is plenty of space here. Kandersteg is also great for families, from the toboggan run at Lake Oeschinen to the via ferrata with breathtaking views for the older ones, it has something unforgettable for everyone. Whether ice or rock - wonderful climbing routes
Where the SAC conducts its ice climbing courses, it must have particularly ideal conditions for this sport. But also in summer countless climbing and mountaineering routes inspire the climbers. And if it rains, there's an indoor climbing hall at Grossen Sport.
