Our owners: Lukas Eichenberger and Roger Burkhardt founded the SMTA Group AG in 2020, an umbrella organisation under which several traditional hotels are to be merged into a small, efficient hotel group. The Hotel Ermitage is the cornerstone. The two also run the Hotel Kreuz in Bern with the traditional restaurant "Bärenhöfli" and the Kreuz Congress Centre with 13 conference rooms.
